Hip and Urban Family

Well we're wrapping things up in preparation for our baby boy's arrival. What better way to end our portrait sessions this year than with this great family! The weather was just perfect for portraits today, and we had fun touring around downtown. There were all kinds of fun spots to explore. Thank you Amanda for sharing your gorgeous family with us!

Fun Day and Getting Ready for a Birthday

We had so much fun with this little one. She was so well behaved and up for anything! The leaves and dirt were the best part of the day for her and we had fun capturing her little personality. Mom and Dad recently moved from Atlanta to be closer to family and are getting ready to celebrate her first birthday.

Happy Birthday!

Fall Mini Portrait Sessions to Support Operation Smile

Help us raise money to create a smile. We've partnered up with PPA Charities Operation Smile and are donating $25 from each session during the month of October. To kick it off we're having a Fall Mini Portrait Session Event on October 12th starting at 9 a.m.

The mini-sessions are only $75 and include a half hour of portraits, an 8" x 10" print and fun fall props like faux pumpkins and fall leaves. Twenty-five dollars from each session goes towards Operation Smile. We'll be shooting the portraits outside at the gorgeous Casa Feliz. Contact us now for an appointment as the spots are already filling up.

Goodbye, But Not for Long!

Our friends are finally acheiving their goal of moving back to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to be closer to family. Todd and Ricky are college friends and good buddies. We're sad to see them moving, but the great thing is, we'll still be able to see them when we visit family in New Orleans. Best of luck to the Compton family on their new adventure and watch out for the alligators back home! :)

A little wind spoil our day? Never!

Our 9AM photo shoot arrived with major gusting winds (26mph winds to be exact). But that didn't stop this fashionalbe family from showing up with smiles determined to have some downtown fun. With the help of a few nooks, crannies, and alley ways for protection, we rattled off some shots all the while having a blast. Chris and Angela are a fantastic couple, and Aaron is a proud and protecting brother to the adorably energetic Adam.

Jack and Mitchell

Saturday was a really fun photo session with our friend John's kids. We wanted to do something different that showed off their skills skateboarding and just being cool kids. Jack and Mitchell were great to work with, and had some ideas that they had done on their own, with their Mom and Dad's digital camera. So, we incoporated their idea of posing in front of the car. It was a lot of fun and involved touring downtown and laying on the ground for some shots. Oh and the security guard in the parking garage was nice in that he didn't ask us to leave when we told him we were taking photos. :)

Kids Are So Darn Cute!

I love working with kids, because they can be so silly and so serious at the same time. You better eat your Wheaties for breakfast, so that you have the energy to chase them, but the images you capture, are fantastic and worth the running. Here's a couple of my favs from a shoot last month, that I just had to post.

Boys Will be Boys

These two had a lot of great energy, and we were happy to harness it into some great images! Thanks to Heather for allowing us to capture images of her and her family.

The Whole Family!

Had a lot of fun this past Saturday taking some family photos of my good friend. The kids were great and very well behaved, and so patient! Such a lovely family, and I can't wait to finish these up to present to them. We also got to partake in the ice cream party after the photo session, since a little princess was celebrating her birthday. ;)
